AONB Team

The AONB unit is situated at the Council offices in Pwllheli. The unit’s main objective is to oversee the day to day management of the AONB and implement the management plan that has been specially developed for the area.

The unit has two members of staff

Bleddyn Prys Jones – Llŷn AONB Officer
As the Llŷn’s AONB officer Bleddyn leads the Council’s core work within the AONB, leading on and coordinating the preparation and delivery of the statutory management plan for the area.

Lea Hughes – AONB Projects Officer
As AONB Project Officer Lea takes the lead on projects that arise from the Management Plan. Another aspect of the work is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Fund grant, arranging events to raise the profile and awareness of the AONB, along with assisting in the development and implementation of the management plan.
