Where is the AONB?

The Llŷn Peninsula is renowned for its diverse and spectacular coastline and beautiful landscape, which formed the basis its designation as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1956.

The designated area includes approximately ¼ of the peninsula –a total of 15,500 hectares extending mainly along the coast and reaching inland to include the volcanic peaks of Garn Fadrun, yr Eifl.
